Third Eye Pineal Gland: The Biggest Cover Up in Human History

Have you ever heard of the term "mind's eye"? This is referring to being able to picture things in your mind, but it's also referring to an inner knowing as well. We actually have a gland that governs our inner sight, or our ability to tune into our inner knowing. This gland is called the pineal gland, and it's a small endocrine gland in the human brain. It produces melatonin which is a hormone that regulates our sleeping and wakefulness and is crucial for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Since it looks like a small pine cone, scientists called it the pineal gland. Throughout history, there have been many references to pine cones and the pineal gland and its involvement in our spirituality and psychic abilities. So much so that it's been named the third eye. The third eye is related to our sense of inner-knowing or even enlightenment. Many spiritual teachings refer to the third eye especially in the ancient practice of yoga and meditation. In Yoga, the third eye is one of the 7 chakras which are the energy centres of our energy system which cannot be seen but are felt subtly. The pineal gland has also been represented in Catholicism where it's seen as a pine cone in art. The Egyptians and the Romans both knew the power of the third eye and used it in symbology in their art, texts and jewellery. You may also notice the all-seeing eye on the back of a US dollar bill.

There are different studies being done of the pineal gland and the brain that show that there are chemicals released in the brain at certain times that give a person a feeling of being connected to a higher source. There was also a study done in the 90′s by a scientist named Jennifer Luke who studied the effects of sodium fluoride on the pineal gland which showed that it was a target for fluoride. It absorbed more fluoride than any other part of the body. So over time, if enough fluoride is consumed, it could calcify the pineal gland which will reduce its ability to produce the hormones it's supposed to produce. As they mention in the YouTube video from Universe Inside You, it's been thought that fluoride has been used to dull down our higher psychic senses and inner knowing. Since fluoride is in a lot of the world's drinking water, over time, this could lead to calcification of the pineal gland if enough fluoride is absorbed.

You can keep your pineal gland healthy, and you can decalcify it by drinking alkaline or distilled water which you can buy, or you can install a filter to filter the water for you. It's also best to avoid fluoride if you can too which means you can use a non-fluoride toothpaste and make sure you read ingredients on any processed food products you buy. It's also been said that sungazing, when the sun is setting, is good for resetting our pineal gland so it can effectively produce melatonin. Eating more vegetables is also wonderful for keeping a healthy pineal gland and for your overall health and wellbeing. One superfood that can be great to add to your healthy lifestyle is Blue Green Algae like chlorella, spirulina, sea moss, and wheatgrass. Herbs can also be a great part of a healthy lifestyle and can improve your pineal function and also your overall health and wellbeing.
